Jellyfish killer

IrukanjiIt seems like a movie title but it is reality. The story begins in Autralia.

First alarm sounded when two tourists from Britain and the United States have died after they contacted with Irukanji, small jellyfish, that is almost invisible in water.

As a result of sudden growth of Irukanji colonies in Australia 200 man became victims of contacts with Irukanji. Scientists are not able to offer antidote to substances emitted by them, as no one seriously studied this type.
The government took some mesures. The Minister for Science Peter MkGogan announced a plan to combat these terrible little creatures.

Venom of Irukandji led to the sudden increase the blood pressure and heart rate. First appears itching, but after half an hour begins cramps, pain in the stomach, back, causing problems with the heart and lungs. 30 people asked medical attention after contact with the jellyfish last year. 200 such cases - this year. Just think!
